It’s f***ing disturbing how many people at this hotel are just acting like nothing is going on. I had 3 idiot women barge into the elevator I was trying to exit without giving me any space at all. Inconsiderate pricks wouldn’t give me two seconds to get off the elevator. Not wearing masks either. Hardly anyone here seems to be wearing one. 1/4 tops.
There's a certain type of people there in SLC who don't believe this virus is a big deal

I compared trends to some of your favorite video game franchises over the past ~3 years @Roman Fell

I feel like it's about 50/50 where I live on the people who are wearing masks and who aren't.

gotcha. Always wanted to spend a weekend there eating like crazy.

Will be going to NH this fall I think

NH is terrific in the fall but you're going to have a lot of company because we get lots of tourists around that time. Spring is mud season, summer is tolerable but can be humid and winter is why-the-f***-are-you-in-NH-in-winter bad. There's a huge difference between Southern NE winters and Northern.

If you like the outdoors you'll like NH. Peterborough is a nice town too but don't go during black fly season or you will regret it. Since you're going in the fall, that won't be a problem.

Do you still have your fart game in high gear? You can clear out that shit in a heartbeat if so. I let out one this morning that had less of an odor and more of an ominous presence, it just permeated your nostrils and put down a rent deposit. Foul.

I’ve got a buddy who lives in Manchester we were supposed to hang with in October.

I don’t think I’ve farted yet today.... which is odd.

Over 60m people are playing Warzone.

How many millions are playing Sword / Shield?
SwSh, despite requiring a $300 console, and costing $60 (USD), had sold over 17M copies as of March 31st, half a year after being released. That number is probably closer to 20M (if not above) now.

Pokemon Go had nearly 150M monthly active users in May 2018, and it's unlikely that the figure has dropped down significantly - especially with 1) the most recent updates faciliting play at home, and 2) monthly revenues being higher in August 2019 ($110M) and March 2020 ($111M, some reports say $172M) than in May 2018 ($104M)

Your dumb ass thinks a mobile game is the same as a console / pc game. Of course the stats are going to be higher for a mobile game. Standardize the stats.

18.8k are watching Sword and Shield right now. 88k are watching Warzone.

That's a huge discrepancy.

NickMercs by himself has like 20k viewers nightly. That's ONE streamer outdoing an entire game.

Comparing mobile stats and players to pc / console is like comparing NHL and AHL attendance. One is going to be higher of course because of various factors (affordability, product, etc)

Here's what you said :
" Nobody knows of any game after that as Pokemon has suffered a drastic loss in relevance "

Clearly, I have showed you that the franchise is quite clearly still extremely relevant (your argument would be like saying that Jeff Bezos wouldn't be ultra-mega-rich if he lost 50% of his wealth)

Regarding SwSh : Pokémon isn't a game that's extremely entertaining to watch (battles are static, not live action) so of course people won't stream it en masse. The competitive scene is also not as big as the battle royale type of games, which are all game that require significantly less time and effort to perform well on the scene. They're also free or very cheap compared to the investment required to play SwSh. So it makes complete sense there would be less "active players" at any given time for SwSh than the most popular online games. Doesn't make the Pokemon games irrelevant lol.

Scratch that. It's not really reliable currently. It may can give you a somewhat ballpark idea but the numbers kind of go everywhere.

You've been trying to argue (for a while now) that tens of millions of monthly active users is "nobody".
The analytics say that Warzone destroys Pokemon in terms of viewership. 88k over 20k. Again, ONE WARZONE STREAMER EQUALS ONE GAME VIEWERSHIP (NickMercs)
