How does Amazon decide what needs signatures and what doesn't? In my experience, the cheaper the item, the more likely they need a signature.

Amazon dropped off my 350 ish dollar laptop at the basement (which someone else I don't know lives in). They always do this because they don't understand the written instructions to go through the hallway and up the f***ing stairs. They just drive up, throw the laptop or whatever I ordered over the gate, and drive off, even though I specifically tell them many times not to do this.

Also I have never had Amazon verify an order. They usually throw it over the gate or leave it at the neighbor's basement door. Then I have to crawl out of quarantine in my f***ing short shorts to f***ing get it.
