That video is something they felt comfortable posting online. In fact, they thought other people would be entertained by that video.

There's a line between playful roughhousing and animal abuse that has not been crossed in the video. There's been incidents and things done to dogs much worse than that. And I am over the top defensive of animals if anything goes wrong, dogs are awesome. But I just don't see anything that jarring in that video. It's just an owner playfully boxing with a German Shepard. By the way, did you see how big the dog was? If it's a poodle or Jack Russell Terrier then you'd have a point.
