There's the phrase "Once it's on the internet, it's up there forever" and it's simply not true.

If it's something no one cares about, such as an old TV show or movie, that stuff is just going to get buried in the long tail of the internet, where there's no easy or straightforward way to find it.

"I don't want anybody whining about length when they sit and binge-watch [television] for eight hours ... I can almost write this part of the review. 'The agonisingly long three-hour movie...' It's like, give me a f—— break. I've watched my kids sit and do five one-hour episodes in a row."

First of all, not everyone binge watches shows like that. Second of all, f*** them kids.

The fact that you can't resell digital games is reason enough that they should always be the cheaper option.

Maybe it's Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft taking a massive cut of the profits, but there's no way that selling a digital copy on an already existing storefront has anywhere near the overhead costs of producing and distributing physical copies.

That cost difference is going in someone's pocket and it sure as shit isn't the consumers'.

Why would you resell old madden or fifa or nhl games which just lose value when the newer iteration comes out
