They were trying to force it in V but you could opt out and select dedicated serversAnother thing about 2042 that makes no sense, ruins something that wasn't an issue before, and makes the game worse for the players?
to be fair EA play pro members already have all ea games and future releases preordered automaticallyLet me preorder the next Battlefield, I'm sure that will teach EA their lesson
"keep enabling EA to be lazy."
yes I will. Because the product isn't optimal but it's a good waste of time for me.
Because the patches and conq/breakthrough 64 modes with smaller maps and player sizes made 2042 redeemable IMOWhy not play a good game, rather than a bungled turd of a game
at the same time i think a lot of the reddit outrage on /r/battlefield2042 is overblown as the game if you've actually played it is somewhat decent. there are still flaws and the whole idea of specialists is still controversial but i've played so much of it now and I have no issue at all. Other than aforementioned idiotic 30 second down times. By far the longest in the series. Nobody is staying downed for 30 seconds after they get shot. You see, I would much prefer to play BF4, but there are fewer servers that are a lot less active and it's precisely because of 2042.
I would love to ignore that 2042 exists, but sadly it's existence is making the game I want to play less enjoyable.
That same idea applies to every annual EA release. You can't keep playing the old Fifa because the new Fifa essentially invalidates the old ones.
Last night's ColePens pile-on had the potential to be stuff of HF legend until someone ruined it with their Kpop spamming
