Another thing about 2042 that makes no sense, ruins something that wasn't an issue before, and makes the game worse for the players?

They were trying to force it in V but you could opt out and select dedicated servers

in 2042 there's no option like that

For example in V "Play Breakthrough or Rush now!" "Play the pacific now!" and there's a button for play, press it and it just loads you into some random server or mode. "Play blow up the satellite tower!" Of course there is always an option to opt out and play normal servers.

Still pissed that Portal doesn't have normal servers but rather these stupid instances where 0/64 or 0/128 servers just don't show up

The biggest issue is that people just like to bitch and complain. They keep doing something they supposedly "don't like", then go on message boards and reddit and complain about how this is bad. No, you have the option to stop going. Like, r/battlefield2042 is all negative shit from people who stopped playing the game months ago. YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO STOP PLAYING. YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO STOP GOING. DON'T GIVE FAILING THINGS AND PRODUCTS ATTENTION. LET THEM FADE AWAY.

Because the patches and conq/breakthrough 64 modes with smaller maps and player sizes made 2042 redeemable IMO

the older 128 version maps were HUGE

the 64 version is still huge but at least playable.

You see, I would much prefer to play BF4, but there are fewer servers that are a lot less active and it's precisely because of 2042.

I would love to ignore that 2042 exists, but sadly it's existence is making the game I want to play less enjoyable.

That same idea applies to every annual EA release. You can't keep playing the older versions in the series because the new edition hampers the older versions.

at the same time i think a lot of the reddit outrage on /r/battlefield2042 is overblown as the game if you've actually played it is somewhat decent. there are still flaws and the whole idea of specialists is still controversial but i've played so much of it now and I have no issue at all. Other than aforementioned idiotic 30 second down times. By far the longest in the series. Nobody is staying downed for 30 seconds after they get shot.

I was pretty frustrated today in 2042 but we held the last point so I was relieved, but I was trying to grind the sniper rifle for the weekly achievement. Usually I just use the submachine gun. But yeah later on in the game I got really good with the DXR so

also the achievement for the week says "have 5 melee kills" and trying to stab someone with a knife is so hard. But you can just get them through the shield bash

So I disable ABP and refresh the page. Now that recommendation is not showing up. Refresh again, still not there. Keep refreshing and it won't show up again.

So many lazy assholes that can't be bothered to knock the snow off their cars. Some people couldn't even bothered to knock the snow off their windshields, for f***'s sake.

It took me like 3 minutes. I turned my car on, knocked all the snow off, and by the time I was done, my car was all warm on the inside.

I hope you selfish dickheads go to stop and all that snow on your roof slides onto your windshield, causing you to crash into some other asshole with snow still all over their car.
