The game isn't perfect but patches have fixed so much of what people are bitching about. And yet /r/battlefield2042 wants to meme these "game ded lel" memes, no people still play. It's like they don't give devs credit for putting Conquest 64 and Breakthrough 64 in which honestly saved the game.

Nothing else is playable. Portal is all milsim and hardcore (nobody wants to play a mode without a UI element)

The worst part of 2042 is the 30 second wait to respawn, most people just tap out after 10 seconds

Even in V there wasn't that much of a wait to respawn, after you were downed you were on the ground for like 15 seconds

@Sega Dreamcast are you aware 2042 completely got rid of the clan servers at least for the main specialists mode? They do the warzone thing where they just sbmm you into a random server and then everyone queues up for another random server after. It makes finding a game easy to play especially in the morning, or any time, but it's stupid with the lack of map voting or any other team balance mods

also to be pedantic vanguard also has sbmm and random "skill based" lobbies which again is stupid. why should you go back to the main menu after every game and wait a minute or two for your lobby to populate? How about just have servers that people can join and stay on all game?
