Good luck fixing that on your own. Check out youtube to see some possible common fixes for this, unless the rubber stopper is damaged it is likely something that can be rigged around with.

Been there and done all that. I had to repair my washing machine, dryer, and replace the oven burner twice, the garage door, just goes on and on and who knows what I can't remember.

Seriously, take a look at youtube, there is likely something you can do to stop it. I've used key ring holders, paper clips to change the length of the chain so the plug goes all the way down. I found some good videos there that showed me basically how to take my washing machine apart.

If you have a damaged rubber stopper you may (likely will) need a plunger assembly, and someone other then you to install it.

I had a bad faucet in a house I rented, instead of calling the Landlord, who would have butchered the job himself as he was super cheap I just replaced it on my own with a similar model. Didn't take much time and the cost of the faucet was much cheaper then not having running water in the kitchen for a few days and the LL trudging in.

play expansion

yeah playing 82 games in a year is too much

i started an expansion team in nba 2k and took them to the title year 2. plus if you sim you probably lose. the newer games like FIFA let you sim until a point and then you can keep simming or just hop into the game. so every time the opponent scores I just join the game, put up like 4 goals ez, and win

I'm not fixing my own washing machine. I looked up online what was wrong (water wont' come out) and something in the back is f***ed up. I'm not going back there.

Yeah, with no mechanical background you need someone else to look at it. I had a washing machine with the carriage wobbling and while I understood how to fix it I decided to replace and upgrade. The job was a bit beyond my payscale and we didn't want a project to fix it.

the doorknobs are f***ed because the knobs are the wrong kind and they were screwed together

They are supposed to be screwed together, however replacing door knobs can be a royal pain in the ass, especially if the hole wasn't cut in the right place and you get a issue with the tongue travelling enough. I don't like that job myself either.

Just reading these horror stories above reinforces how happy I continue to be not to own a house. Anything goes wrong & the apartment maintenance peeps fix it almost immediately.
