I was not in the smart kid English classes in high school, so I know nothing about Les Mis or the context of that gif.

It's not a stretch to say I was in the dumbed-down English classes, as in junior year, we literally watched the old version of The Great Gatsby before listening to the books on tape in class. Even as someone that hated reading books, I still think that was some incredibly pathetic teaching.

I still think it was hilarious how I publicly pondered watching Girls and then @Sega Dreamcast said "Isn't that that show with Lena Durham, pass"

Like he flat out dismissed it because of Lena
