Had to buy a new computer at work and it has Windows 11 on it.
First time using it... holy shit, stop changing and moving shit with no rhyme or reason in name of "user friendliness".
Example: right clicking no longer has cut, copy, and paste as lines of text, no, they have to be little pictures now

Example: right clicking no longer has cut, copy, and paste as lines of text, no, they're little pictures now (to make it more like Office, I assume).
And I can't seem to uncombine taskbar buttons to make the taskbar actually useful, so I'm stuck with the stupid collection of icons with no text, and that awful clutter that happens when you have multiple windows of the same program open.

i have my windows 11-based work laptop stuck in the closet next to the servers plugged in and i only use it to help other devs debug their docker environments since it's pretty different windows v. linux. otherwise she gets no use at all.
luckily we're moving to microservices and as such will be full-time linux soon. i'm sure some devs will stick with windows - we're still a .net shop and it's probably easier to have some stuff still on windows, but i'm happy i stuck around long enough to see this day come about.
