@PanthersPens62 yinz are still awful. Garcia had an awful game. But yinz won. Congrats. f*** the uva.
Both defenses came to play, but the Hurricanes produced just enough on offense to edge out a 14-12 victory against Virginia in a quadruple-overtime thriller.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Jake Garcia started his first career game for Miami (4-4 overall and 2-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference) after it was announced that starter Tyler Van Dyke would not play as a result of the shoulder injury he suffered against Duke in Week 8.

While Garcia did not have a break-out performance, he played mistake-free football. The Whittier, California native completed 15 of his 29 passes for 125 yards.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Brandon Montour scored the tiebreaking goal with 3:32 remaining and the Florida Panthers beat the Ottawa Senators 5-3 on Saturday.

Carter Verhaeghe had two goals and an assist for the Panthers, Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk each had a goal and two assists, and Montour also had two assists. Spencer Knight had 23 saves as Florida snapped a two-game skid.
