Still feel like shit. Don't feel any worse though.

My daughter has never had a real Halloween yet. If I ruin that I'll never forgive myself.

Calm down Brotato Chip. There’s always next Halloween worst comes to worst.

You feel better now, y’hear?? :)

This episode of Pokemon

Team Rocket took pikachu and flew off miles away yet Ash was able to command Pikachu to fire a lightning bolt at the light stone

Pokemagic or some shit?? :dunno:

Google is so useless now.

Stop using a thesaurus to change what I searched, because then you just keep showing me the same f***ing results.

I can explain exactly what I'm looking for, but Google wants to twist my words and show me shit I'm not looking for

I can't search for Gary Bettman and get any results from before 2020. f***ing Google.

I search for "gary bettman upset crowd reaction shot" and I get completely unrelated shit, such as an article about that dumbf*** trucker convoy with the words "angry people" and "vaccine" highlighted. I DIDN"T SEARCH FOR THOSE f***ING WORDS, STOP SHOWING ME SHIT I DIDN"T SEARCH FOR

CHICAGO -- — Patrick Kane had a goal and an assist, and the streaking Chicago Blackhawks withstood Florida’s late push to beat the Panthers 4-2 on Tuesday night.

CALGARY, Alberta -- — Nazem Kadri had two goals and an assist to extend his points streak to six games as the Calgary Flames beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1 on Tuesday night.

Jonathan Huberdeau had his first goal with Calgary and Michael Stone also scored as the Flames won for the fifth time in six games.

It's the same stupid setup as No Way Home.

Completely avoidable scenario where someone causes everything to get all f***ed up. Even though this forces the heroes to do things they've never done before, there's absolutely no tension because even though a minor character might die, the heroes are obviously going to prevail in the end.

And stop putting pop music in every trailer, god damn it

Thanks.

On top of the current stuff, now I'm also pretty sure I have COVID. Tons of nasal drip and coughing 3 days after the first indoor dinner outside a home I've had since February 2020...and tomorrow I'm supposed to do a virtual presentation to a customer for a contract on which I am the technical lead.

I legitimately hate everything that has ever existed.
Covid was a super slow creep for me.

My wife and kiddo caught it from her sister, and I felt a little bit bad for like 3 days. I figured iT wAs JuSt ThE fLu after all. Then on day 4 I woke up and felt like I'd been hit by a bus. I was really sick for about 5 days. All-in-all I missed 7 full days of work. It was a ride.

Hopefully subsequent infections are less terrible.

Was ready to say f*** it and buy a Pixel 6a, until I saw it doesn't have wireless charging.

I thought that has been a standard feature for a while now.

It's like keyless start on a car, it's too easy to just put my phone on the charging pad on my night stand, so I refuse to go back. Especially if I'm buying a new phone, f*** that.

It's such a simple QoL thing that doesn't seem like much until you have to go back to your old way of doing it.

Also, I loathe how phones keep coming with less features for no reason other than to make it one millimeter thinner. (Or so Apple can coerce people into buying airpods.)

In my experience it's always been iffy. The buds I had used to charge wirelessly until I realized that it was unreliable. Same for the phone. It had a stand and everything to slant the phone and it still wouldn't charge even when it was on the charger.

I hate heading out for 12 hours for one of my sports trips and then seeing that the phone or buds didn't charge 100%. Well, you were on the damn charger for days, or even plugged in for days. How do you not have 100% charge when it's time to go?

That's why I have the chargers with a giant light that turns on when it starts charging, so I know it's positioned correctly. (The light turns off after a few seconds, it's not on forever.)

Then I have this shitty Anker one that uses a dated micro USB cable and has the tiniest little light to indicate if it's charging.

I had a shitty one that NBC Sports gave me, it was plugged in and had an indicator. Blue it was charging, red it wasn't. You'd put the dang bud case on the thing and it would be red. Like, it's on the charger. Then you shift it around some, and it's blue. At least I knew when it was charging, but it was just a pain. Then I got these silicon covers for the buds, so I can clip them to my pants. The silicon is too thick to have the wireless charging so I just charge my buds manually through the cord. Now, this doesn't mean that any buds are charging inside (there's a light for that charge) so every time I charge I hope that the buds inside are charging too (there's some damn issue with the connectors...seriously, the things are plugged in for hours, then I head out for 12 hours for a sports game and 1 hour in BATTERY LOW. YOU WERE PLUGGED IN FOR LIKE 3 DAYS!)
