I was olooking over some cookbooks here and many reciples require you to use red wine for flavor. In fact, most of them involve BURNING the alcohol away from much of the wine for the reduction. And people say you can't use wine for cooking are you dumb

f*** ochemEthanol and water form an azeotrope and it is technically impossible to 100% separate them by distillation/boiling of any kind, but you can get rid of a large portion of the alcohol by simple boiling and fume hood activation. EDIT: To be honest though, if someone has an allergy or religious objection to ethanol, this will not be enough.
