Yep.

We used to reference that on an old Death metal forum back in like 2004-05.

So much so, it got to the point where the mere mention of “lulz (that number)” would get noobs permanently banned and us veteran posters all got infractions.

Maybe I'm wrong and that it was like 2005 or then (I was an active poster by then and I didn't join until 2005.)
