What's the point of these 2700K GE Reveal bulbs, when you can just buy 6000K bulbs that are actually white?

i hear you you go to target or home depot and they have like 300 bulbs there

i went the other day to replace my halogen one in my basement and I got the wrong f***ing model

had to drive home, try to plug it in, and then drive BACK to Target to get the right one

You could have just taken the bulb with you or looked online before going.

buying light bulbs at the store like

Buying bulbs at the store tends to suck because the majority is going to be the shitty yellow bulbs.

Seems like they're coming out with more options now. Those GE Refresh bulbs are 5000K, which is good.

Back in the day, I bought 6000K bulbs off Amazon and the packaging was all in Spanish, lirl

Honestly, imagine using anything over 2700-3000k in your home on a daily basis

Nothing worse than going on a walk at night and seeing half the homes lit up with 6000k bulbs like a f***ing hospital. I really don't know how people live like that.

I know they're supposed to feel cozy and I can tolerate them for living room or bedroom lighting, but I just really dislike the yellow tinge of soft white bulbs.

People say the cleaner whites feel too sterile and industrial, but I like that in my kitchen and bathrooms.

Ever since I installed a dimmer switch and 5000K bulbs in one of my apartment kitchens, I've done the same setup every time I moved.
