Paige wasn't a "promising" talent. She was established and as I said, it was all related to her injury history. Having her wrestle was a huge legal risk.

Iiconics became somewhat stale and Billie wasn't a good wrestler. And it's not like they've continued wrestling long after either. They went to Impact and asked for their releases within like one year. They have other priorities now, it seems.

Samoa Joe (who is not a female wrestler, so kind of irrelevant there) would get major pushes only to end up injuring himself for months.
