TIL people attend baseball games out of the house other than me, on these boards. Again maybe it's my inferiority complex checking in but most of yinz don't seem like very affable, "go to games" kind of folk.

Like, they go from Miami Dolphins season tickets to just watching every game at home on WFOR...

heck for years the only person here who attended hockey games other than myself was the late Tarantula

Though I gave you wings to soar the heavens, I did not teach you how to walk the earth. So loath was I to bind another living being. In the course of your long journey, you will learn from those you meet. Learn to walk and run and so much more.

habs are so dumb tearing down the forum

bell centre sucks. do you know what's ont he forum now? a f***ing mall. that's where all those legends won all those cups.

The Forum was then completely gutted and converted into a downtown entertainment centre called the Pepsi Forum, consisting of an AMC Theatres multiplex theatre (sold to Cineplex Odeon in July 2012), shops and restaurants. A Rainforest Cafe was planned to open at the location following its conversion, but was never built.

On a related note f*** the wings for leaving joe Louis. How many playoff games have you hosted at little Caesars.

Imagine deciding a tournament game with a skills competition.

Endless overtime or f*** outta here
If it went to golden goal Canada would have won lol

You bash king but his commentary is priceless

"Get outta there Vince. He'll kill ya!"

The Civic Arena in Pittsburgh had the Mick Foley and Undertaker Hell in a Cell match.

There's probably some other ones, but I can't remember.

Oh yeah, Sudden Death starring Jean-Claude Van Damme

I met Jerry Lawler once I have his autograph somewhere

Zaide knows he was snapped the moment. Zaide hates king.

awaiting angry reply of how people attended games at old orange bowl with Bill Zimpfer and jim madrich on the transistor radio

Cefalo became the play-by-play man on the Miami Dolphins radio broadcast team on Dolphins flagship station WQAM in 2005. He was partnered with former Dolphins Joe Rose and the late Jim "Mad Dog" Mandich. He now works with Rose and Bob Griese
Griese no longer works the games on radio.

I went to plenty of Canes & Dolphins games when I was younger. Now I get a better experience watching on HD TV. Sue me. And for the record, I miss our 8 legged friend.

When I was a young teenager, I went to some indie wrestling promotion in the Pittsburgh suburbs and Jerry Lawler was in the main event against some indie guy.

Well, the main event starts and the crowd keeps hassling and chanting at the indie guy because it looked like had an erection in his tights.

Eventually Lawler picks up on what the crowd is chanting, so he grabs the mic and says something to the effect of "And I thought I was excited to be here!"

You do realize the old arenas became obsolete right? Yes. they had charm and great atmospheres. But they were no longer money makers for the owners.

his heel shoot on goldust is classic

They had Lawler call Golddust a slur as an attempt to get Lawler booed and Golddust cheered because they were in Lawler's hometown of Memphis.

Because they're f***ing stupid, it obviously didn't work, leading to Lawler still getting cheered after saying it.

Last summer: 52 days in a row without rain, severe water usage restrictions statewide
This summer: I WILL SHIT RAIN DOWN YOUR THROAT AND YOU WILL LIKE IT

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I had to post about every time I leave the house, like you apparently do.

I went to the USC-Oklahoma NCAA FB title game many years ago. Met a nice family from Oklahoma that watched their team get destroyed by a team of ringers.
