i really want it to go well but for me these things go well only when I just be myself and pretend i don't care (which is a lie because I really like this one.)

It always feels the same before every single one, but you got this. I've been rejected for tons of positions - most even before the first interview, but I've always landed somewhere and that somewhere generally has been the right fit. I'm with you on the "pretend like you don't care" bit, but it really is the best advice. Nothing gained by being desperate or acting nervous.

For me, if there's ever an opportunity to mention that I'm not a huge fan of interviews - that usually settles me down quickly. That comment obviously fully depends on what your situation looks like, but I will drop it as early as I can provided the company won't instantly turn off. Usually they won't in the startup but presumably the government is a little more snooty.

Anyway, we believe in your bruv! Candle lit. Go crush it.
