yeah so that interview i bombed...apparently i did and i didn't. they didn't like me at the tech lead level but apparently they still liked me enough to pursue a sr devel position?

totally shocked. like i feel like i completely bombed the interview but the two people that liked me the most were the leadership/executive people lol.

we will see if we can negotiate a path forward but this might actually happen. completely shocked.

This main guy they keep interviewing is so annoying with how he flip-flops on his certainty.

He'll be telling a theory and say "I think this is what happened", then after the story he'll say "That is definitely what happened if the pilot did it".

Yeah, he straight up just accuses the pilot of mass murder/suicide with no evidence.

Then he changes his theory and says "The three Russians on the plane did it", explains his whole theory, and immediately cut to an expert who says that theory is impossible.

There's also been a few people obnoxiously saying they "know" something, when all they have is a theory.

"I know this is piece of debris from the plane," as she points to white specks on the grainiest satellite images, then overlaying pictures of the plane and claiming exactly which part of the plane it is.
