Do you even know what you're laughing at.

If you know Kane and NOD I would be pleasantly surprised.

Honestly I didn't play much command and conquer but this slogan was brought to my attention by an associate

PEACE THROUGH POWER!

Biggest C&C Memory in the 90's was going to other people's houses to play it during the summer. When I tried it myself I built up an army of 200 soldiers. We promptly invaded those GDI bastards and got wrecked.

In Starcraft against the CPU you can literally make a 200 man / tank / battlecruiser army and end the computer

in C&C and AOE in some ways if you build up a 200 man army and attack you could flat out get wiped lol

Kane the rassler that became a nutjob politician. That's all I need to know.
It's not the same Kane

@Sega Dreamcast @MetalheadPenguinsFan were you nerdy enough to play Rise of Nations or AOE? Or even Command and Conquer?

Ok I had the wrong Kane.....sue me.
those games were pretty good growing up

just build tanks and invade other countries and it wasn't turn based like CIV too it was RTS

sadly once you went online at least in Starcraft it got damn hard. Lot of memories of the old days on 56k modems playing SC. I used to play in 3v3 or 4v4. Be building my base and then 10 zerglings come. "YO HELP ME OUT TEAM" and then the teammates just let you die because you're so bad, quit game

f*** Quake Tournament man I grew up playing starcraft lol

all the games were better in the 90's and 2000's and they didn't have game ending bugs which made them unplayable

i still have the cd's for NHL 2004 around somewhere

No time to play EA PGA Tour today and work on my female golfer. Busy this afternoon and night.

I remember pirating a game off of Limewire, finding out it was Age of Empires instead of the game I wanted, and then my dad freaked out when we couldn't uninstall it.

My dad always overestimated how much he knew about computers. Pretty sure he still buys Norton Antivirus every year like a dumb asshole.

Can we build a computer for my 15th birthday? He made no attempt to even look it up before telling me "no, it would be too hard".

"Error while running 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\powertoys\tools\chocolateyinstall.ps1'.
See log for details."

The log doesn't tell me jack shit, it's all the same messages that were echoed in the Powershell window.

imagine using chocolatey instead of scoop

I mean, imagine using Windows over Linux, but still. Scoop for life for Windows. I always throw it on jumpboxes because everyone in services is afraid of Linux and has to have access to kubernetes from a windows machine.

There is no one in the stands in DC. If you are there they need to let you escape Section 418.

Meanwhile, in the "and water is wet" category, Jazz leaves the game with what looks like a shoulder injury after an awkward slide into 2B. And our best hitter Arreaz gets a day off. Honestly, Skip looks like he manages the exact same way The Donald did, which lends credence to the theory that the Front Office really does make out the line up cards each day. :help:

I installed chocolatey after you mentioned it in here years ago, then promptly never used it.

Eh, it's just my personal laptop I keep at work. I've thought about installing Linux on it but I'm lazy.

No idea how long it's been since you've toyed with Linux, but it's a whole different game these days.

Ubuntu is great for everyday use. I hate some of their proprietary stuff and forcing of package managers, but it's the best entry point in the world.

A lot of fun to be had on the software side now.
