@PanthersPens62 Do you know who Alan Dershowitz is?
Of course!

Meanwhile, Morning Joe was on target. No celebrating, just stating facts as we know. Rev with spot on defense of Mr. Bragg. Jon Meachem with his usual on spot historical perspective. Best moment, though, was the replay of a certain someone from South Carolina blubbering away & pleading for people to donate $$$ to this so-called billionaire's defense fund. Shameful. :shakehead

No, that's just what is wrong with modern day religion. If more people (you included) loved their enemies, (especially those we consider to be be message board enemies  ) we would be in a much better place.

I don't consider them "enemies", just people I vehemently disagree with. And I don't "hate" them, I strongly dislike them for their opinions. I do hate people who kill innocent people, commit crimes and the such. Hating people on a message board because they may disrespect a post we make is just silly.

I thought fans attended games at LoanDepot...
We discussed this during the WBC. People want to see winning, exciting baseball. People will not waste $$ on a boring product that the owner refuses to make better. And nice of the Natinals to pad the attendance figure yesterday. No way did you have 35,000 there. :shakehead

MONTREAL (AP) — Matthew Tkachuk had his fifth career hat trick and one assist to lead the Florida Panthers to a 5-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night.

With his second goal, Tkachuk became the fourth player in NHL history to have 100 or more points in consecutive seasons after changing teams in the offseason. He joined Wayne Gretzky (1987-88, 1988-89), Jimmy Carson (1987-88, 1988-89) and Mike Rogers (1980-81, 1981-82) in achieving the feat.

“It’s pretty cool, but it’s probably the last time I’ll ever be in the same sentence as (Gretzky),” Tkachuk said. “Very, very cool.”

For Florida coach Paul Maurice, Tkachuk is much more than a 100-point contributor.

“There’s no cheat in his game,” Maurice said. “Really good players anticipate and then good players cheat. There’s never any of that.

Pagliarulo and his wife Jenny live in Texas with their five daughters,[13] one of whom was adopted from China.[9]

Yes, I read the entire article. Am I supposed to be heart warmed about this adoption? Because I was not heart warmed by Amy C. Barrett's adoptions.......doesn't change who they are at their cores.

625 dollars to meet Tua

giphy.gif

It wo9uld litearlly cost 625 dollars to fly down to Miami
Yes its a whole heck of a ton of $$$$ but its not just to meet him. Its a whole evening of events, food and entertainment. And all proceeds go to his charities:

The Tua Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of youth initiatives, health and wellness, and other charitable causes.

The Foundation was established by Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Obviously not many people can afford this price, but its great for those who do and it is for a good cause. Better than what the person in South Carolina is asking people to do. :naughty:

...

That's ridiculous

Yes all those Indian Island residents can afford that. Not working class plebes.

Hopefully it's not like the Russell Wilson foundation...
