I kind of do think MSNBC is very slanted as well, but definitely not as much as Fox is on the other side.

You realize that's not as bad as opinion show hosts receiving their talking points from direct communication with politicians, right?
When the host of an opinion show is reading a script someone else wrote, that would no longer be an opinion show. That would be lying to and deceiving your audience, which is the network's MO.

why should people treat the media with aplomb and honor
the fake news often distorts and manipulates facts
he isn't the only one to lash out at the media (Gundy) or the only one to routinely be surly at media (Saban calls the media and their hype "rat poison")
Blll Belichick also dismisses the media and provides monotonal one word answers or simplistic sentences so the media can't manipulate his words and use it as locker room material
Not everyone is as loose with the media as your friend "Coach Nerd"

My problem with Jim Bo is not so much how he treats the media, but his overall demeanor. Again, there was no reason to insult the ACC and make fun of Greensboro when the school made the choice to leave the Big East. There was no reason for him to flat out accuse 3 schools of buying their basketball rosters. There was no reason for him to completely fumble yesterday's post game presser.
And yes, Coach Nerd is a refreshing breath of air, but for today I will defer to what Hoodie would say........"On to Wake Forest".

Of course I remember it because both my "new hometown" and my "birthplace hometown" teams were part of the Big East. I remember Georgetown v St John's too. All great rivalries. I LOVED the Big East. A lot of once great conferences/teams were destroyed because of realignment over the years. Just look at the Nebraska football team. But sadly, the world goes on and the strong learn to adapt. And why does he get a pass for being a "cranky old man"? Yes, its endearing when they are successful but the act grows old when the success wanes. There was nothing endearing about his presser yesterday & I believe it hurt his legacy because people will remember the clumsy way it happened.
