the best way to travel is just to explore around away from the tourist traps like gyongbackdong palace but then i'd again have no clue what was happening and i wouldn't be able to speak the language to ask for help

honestly, as gross as it is, one of the beauties of being native english speakers is that you can generally figure it out no matter where you go. English is really popular in so many places.
