It's hard to think of many stupid moments from GoT, mostly because the individual plot points get overshadowed by how every character was ruined by the end.

For example, #24, hiding in a crypt when the enemy can resurrect the dead. Totally valid point diminished by all of the other stupid shit happening in that episode.

Dragon's breath can destroy buildings.

We later see Jon Snow hiding behind rubble from a dragon breathing fire, with the rubble showing absolutely no signs of weakness

That entire plan was dumb and ultimately pointless.

Also, Night King very easily takes a dragon down with one ice-javelin throw. Never even tries that move again.
