100-1 rushing him back will just make things worse in the long run. Or he’ll get hurt again and worse….

Really what’s 2-3 weeks??? If he can be invisible in games 6 and 7 of the SCF, then what’s a few missed regular season games in November amirite??

Plenty of gambling books explain how to play the games; that's Gambling 101. Gambling 102 takes you to the next stage, where you're playing in the best way with the least amount of effort. Within these pages, gambling's "Wizard of Odds" provides proven strategies for all the casino games--from baccarat to video poker to sic bo to craps--in terms that are easy to understand and implement.

Nineteen quick chapters (some as brief as two or three pages) cut right to the heart of each game. They give you, first, an assessment of the odds you face, then the basic strategies you need to lower them as much as possible. When should you raise in Three Card Poker? How good a hand do you need to Let It Ride? How will reduced "juice" affect your sports-betting results? And, of course, how do you pick, and play, the best blackjack game? Everything you need to play the games as well as they can be played is at your fingertips.

Gambling 102 is the product of years of mathematical analysis, computer modeling, and actual casino play. If you believe in luck or hunches, you probably need another book. But if you believe that mathematics provides the best way to approach games of chance, then Gambling 102 is the book for you.

Do those books delve into the pros and cons of making $1.94 wagers? :sarcasm:

Person on their shoulder scolded the trainer dealer hard, thinking and showing them they may have been turning the corner of cards up a bit when dealing .. it wasnt, i was just dumb

Felt so bad

Local person in a horrible economy finally gets a resort gig .. only for drunk american to screw it up for them

Lirl @ all the idiots online whining about wanting to move here

Newsflash….It’s way way way worse here in “Canindia” right now…then in the US.

If I could GTFO of this shithole, I would…..

Why not just move bro? The inconvenience of uprooting will be replaced with the relief of doing what you wanted to do for change in your life

EDMONTON -- Connor McDavid will be back in the Edmonton Oilers’ lineup Wednesday, a little more than a week since injuring his left ankle.

The Oilers center, who was originally expected to miss 2-3 weeks, participated in the morning skate on a line with Zach Hyman and Jeff Skinner ahead of their game against the Vegas Golden Knights at Rogers Place (8:30 p.m. ET: TVAS, SN, SCRIPPS).

“Yeah, I feel good,” the Edmonton captain said. “Looking forward to going and getting back in there.”

In mathematics, the Taylor series or Taylor expansion of a function is an infinite sum of terms that are expressed in terms of the function's derivatives at a single point. For most common functions, the function and the sum of its Taylor series are equal near this point. Taylor series are named after Brook Taylor, who introduced them in 1715. A Taylor series is also called a Maclaurin series when 0 is the point where the derivatives are considered, after Colin Maclaurin, who made extensive use of this special case of Taylor series in the 18th century.
