So dumb that the Fox Kids shit isn't on TV anymore. This current generation is being robbed.

Fox Kids used to air Bobby's World and Spider Man at 3 pm, now they just air dumb talk shows like the Wendy Williams successor

What happened to the afternoon cartoon era

Baltimore-ish
"The Lions have been a public darling since coach Dan Campbell took the helm."

Bullshit they were a "public darling" when his coaching record with the Lions was 4-19-1.

The hype train started during their 8-2 run to finish out the 22 season.
I disagree.

2021 week 18. The 2-13-1 Lions host rivals Packers for a meaningless season ender.

The house was packed.

Lions fans were going nuts with good energy and positive flow.

I said to myself "dear god ... theyre f***ing psychos up north. Dont they know their team is 2-13? Dont they know they are the Lions? A franchise so historically bad that Barry Sanders retired at 31 when he was just 1,400 yards away from setting the all time rushing record. A franchise so historically bad that a 30 year old 6 time pro bowler wide receiver said "f*** your money, im out".

Guess what?

Lions won that week 18 matchup against their daddy Packers in front of a rabid home crowd.

Dont believe me?

While he saw his friends "getting high and getting dead," Ovechkin was attending daily training sessions morning and night. "You dive into sport with your head and arms and legs, and there's no time for anything else," he said of this early training.[12]

Meanwhile, Ovechkin dreamed of playing in the NHL, keeping the cards of star players stashed in his room, especially those of his idol, Mario Lemieux.[5] "It's the best hockey there is," Ovechkin would say of the NHL.[5]

The following off-season, Ovechkin was selected first overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals. He had been projected as the first overall pick for nearly two years[15] and had earned comparisons to Mario Lemieux.[16] He was so highly regarded that the Florida Panthers attempted to draft him in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft in the ninth round, even though his birthday was two days after the cut-off (15 September 1985). Rick Dudley, the general manager of the Panthers, claimed the pick was legitimate, claiming that Ovechkin was old enough with leap years taken into consideration.[16]
