How's "ny" so difficult to pronounce for English-speakers? It's literally pronounced as "new" and it even means "new". They also pronounce nylander "neelander" and nyman "numan" as if it would be somehow pronounced differently depending on the name it's in.

Nylander = Swede
Nyman = Finn

Nyman looks like it would be pronounced "Nigh-man" to most English speakers
