GDT: USA vs. Finland, Jan. 4th, Semi-Final; 1:30 pm EST, 7:30 pm local

Says the MTL fan who I'm sure is a long time fan of the US junior program. Give me a break. Both players have obvious talent and are great prospects. It's no crime for someone to prefer one or the other.
We’re talking about this game, right now.

And yes, i’m a fan of the US program and NCAA. Way more than any junior canadian leagues.

USA will probably come out flying so we need to survive first 5-10 minutes.

Please not Finland in the final. Still have PTSD from the last time they played in Malmö.

Finlad vs Swedes will be good(not perfect but good of course Swedes will get a lot of PP time) and USA vs Cze for bronze would be nice too... gives opportunity to CZE to play back for gthat SO loss.

Pretty bad puck movement by the Finnish D so far this period. Keep this up and they'll be in trouble.

Meh. One period sample size isn't relevant to much. If Hutson was a prospect for a second tier US team he'd be a minor curiosity not the hype machine he can be on the prospects board on this site. That's not to take anything away from him. He's got excellent talent and some flaws he will have to overcome to play in the NHL. I don't see the AHL causing him too much trouble at least offensively but he may never be stable enough on defense to play more than a third pair PP QB role. That is still an excellent player but some fans prefer someone with a bit more balance.

This game is so stressful, either the US team is going to get shut out or we're going to win like 6-3. Just need to get that first one.

So he's somewhere between Torey Krug and Marc Andre Bergeron?
