Wow, impressive game by the Finns and well deserved win. Rimpinen is a beast. Has to be a lock for the all star team.

Cole Hutson is amazing but has the character of a vegetable. Leonard seem like such an entitled and spoiled brat. The US equivalent of Lias Andersson.

What a joke of a statement. Leonard has taken victory and defeat with class. He plays hard and is as emotionally invested in the game as you could be.

Lias was an immature sore loser with big character issues.

What are you talking about? People can laugh at that post but it’s not like Latvia completely outplayed Canada. Finland outplayed the US. They are not a good team at all and they outplayed the US.

I think Czechs more likely to beat Slovakia than Sweden to beat Czech but yeah it’s possible for Czechs to get third. Recent years show them a dangerous QF opponent.

So Canada can get a max of 10 points with reg wins in both games. USA also max of 10 points with a regulation win over Canada. Finland a max of 8 points with a win over Latvia. So Canada-USA will be for 1st in the group and the loser likely gets 3rd.

Well they better concentrate on beating Germany first …..nothing can be taken for granted ….. which is great!

You are comparing a country with a population of 335 million (646 000 registered players) to a country with 5,5 million people (64 000 registered players). Logic says the US should have more picks overall.

Skiing? We are doing well in basketball and volleyball though.

I think there are two Finnish players in ATP top 100 now aswell. Otherwise our programs are lacking.
