Austrian goalie isn’t half bad. Although the bar is pretty low after watching Germany

The big difference between the US and Canada for me is the ability to finish plays. US is able to create a lot of good opportunities but just can’t bury it. I want to see a little more from Boldy he has the ability.
This Austria's goalie is playing way better than the 2 German ones did.

Longer this goes without US scoring a goal more US will be mentally defeated or at least question themselves

Austria is really giving it their all...
I am not sure how long that can last...
If Austria gets through the first without a goal scored on them... I think they will see that as a victory...
If that happens... Lord help them in the 2nd... I think the U.S. will come out hard...

The Austrian player got his stick in there they showed on the replay.
Austria is battling hard out there, I expect the Americans eventually to break this game open but give the Austrian team credit. They aren’t backing down against a more skilled team.

US needs to try other combinations. Move Brisson or Caufield to the 1st line and send Turcotte or Kaliyev to the 3rd

The Austrian players seem to be very clumsy with the puck so far but they've been making some solid plays at times as well. Decent job of not letting the Americans get too much going, but they'll need to continue getting goaltending.
I'm Canadian but why don't USA split Zegras and Turcotte? Would make more sense to me
