Game is far from over.

Outside of the last 5 mins and the play in the US zone that lead to the second goal, USA controlled a lot of the play.

Canada has to play better in their own end, looked real sloppy back there.

Great to see Canada convert on their chances, gotta keep that up.

Funny they don't win gold every year if they're usually better

Jr. Hockey is unpredictable, especially in single game eliminations. High high's and low low's. That's why Russians medalling with the frequency they do is very impressive.

It's the unpredictability and the ups and downs we see in Jr. hockey that makes it so exciting.

We're playing our game, and our way. Loving the effort.

Wave after wave attack. Non-stop effort, these boys were born and trained for these moments. Bring your best when it matters the most.

Getting punched in the face by the Yanks in the round robin was exactly what we needed. Keep it up, play the next 40 this way and Gold is ours.

Yup, mentioned that a few days ago in the Canada roster.

I would not say the states controlled the play.

Canada has gotten away with 3 or 4 clear penalties. The refs need to have some pride and call the game fairly. But the goals scored by Canada were of their own doing, not by the help of the refs.

I'm not taking away from Canada with my criticism of the refs. I just cannot stand when refs bend to the pressure of reffing in Canada for team Canada, with the crowd all over them. Have a backbone and call the game.

Hockey Canada and TSN money have spoken. Canada is now allowed to play their dirty game .

I won't watch this tournament anymore.

And when you're your dad's age, you'll tell your kids the same thing.

It's never going to change.

I'm going to tell my kids that the game is actually Iceland's game and D2:The Mighty Ducks is a documentary on how Iceland lost its game to a bunch of ragtag kids.

This is solid :handclap:

Imagine actual USA vs actual Iceland in an actual juniors tournament?

It would be like 37-0.

What the hell is this? The US hasn't been perfect either. I'd say the refs have done a great job calling this game so far.

Iceland's hockey program never recovered from that loss.

Excuses, refs have missed or just didn't call penalties against both teams.

I'd venture to guess you'd be singing a different tune if your player was wiped out behind the US net directly resulting in the 1st goal of the game. Completely set the tone of the game. Reffing hasn't been good at all, but as he said Canada has been completely outplaying the US.

TSN and Hockey Canada are bullies with their money. The refs are told to stop calling penalties and let Canada play their dirty game.
