US announcer assignments for Stanley Cup Playoffs

The rink audio and crowd noise are so objectively inferior on American broadcasts that it's bewildering. Doesn't even feel like a playoff game on US TV. Turn on a Canadian broadcast of the same game and it's an entirely different atmosphere. It's just audio mix and EQ, crazy they can't get it right.

Which is so strange because it wasn't like that during the regular season.

TNT using remote broadcasts, ESPN's audio not sync'd up properly and the audio mix is terrible, yet John Buccigross has the gall to say that the national networks should get exclusive rights to the first round as well lmao.

You know it's telling when the league is using the regional broadcasts for their YouTube highlight videos instead of the national ones.

I honestly did not notice in real time the ESPN audio on the Dallas OT goal was not synced til I saw the replay on X and was like what the hell he said score before it was in. I am not sure why that would happen.
