ESPN blasted for Leafs-Senators audio mix
An ESPN broadcast (on ESPN2) of a NHL playoff game Sunday between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators took flak for its audio mix.

I mean, yeah, the mix was awful, but so were the announcers.![]()

Bucci, made a jab tonight mentioning they are in the arena, no green screen. Later in the broadcast he said they were on their way to Winnipeg for the next game.
Which is so strange because it wasn't like that during the regular season. The rink audio and crowd noise are so objectively inferior on American broadcasts that it's bewildering. Doesn't even feel like a playoff game on US TV. Turn on a Canadian broadcast of the same game and it's an entirely different atmosphere. It's just audio mix and EQ, crazy they can't get it right.
TNT using remote broadcasts, ESPN's audio not sync'd up properly and the audio mix is terrible, yet John Buccigross has the gall to say that the national networks should get exclusive rights to the first round as well lmao.
You know it's telling when the league is using the regional broadcasts for their YouTube highlight videos instead of the national ones.
Brendan Burke, not Faust. Faust is calling Montreal-Washington for TNT.Faust and Pang for this VGK/MIN game is legit. One of the best pairs these playoffs
Man those two sound so similar. I just turned it on for a few mins of OT lolBrendan Burke, not Faust. Faust is calling Montreal-Washington for TNT.
Funny, if anything I think for a moment Faust is Buccigross. BTW Faust has improved dramatically since leaving the Kings.Man those two sound so similar. I just turned it on for a few mins of OT lol
Personally I've had enough of hearing, iTs AcE hErE every interview. Does anyone actually call him that or is it self imposed?I'm getting sick of Paul Bissonnette and PK Suban's schtick, it's tiresome.
