He's a good player, you're probably a little disappointed if you draft him at #13 but at least you got a top 4 defenseman, and a big part of it at the time was his contract when we thought we were in a cup window. Nazar seems like he's gonna be a gamer though, might look painful in a couple of years.

He seems to have a chunk of games where he looks like he has taken a corner, then it seems he regresses to some of the types of plays he made when he first got here. His regular partner (Dobson) has not been good, so I know he has changed partners here and there so I will cut him some slack.

He’s a solid middle pairing guy. Physical, high motor, sneaky good shot, but low IQ. Probably taking on a bigger role than he should be, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Certainly not one of this team’s biggest issues.

He's a solid player, nothing more, nothing less. He was never billed as some "missing piece" just Lou felt he could get a young cost-controlled NHLer for a magic bean.

Title says it all. I love Romy, but unfortunately he has not moved the needle.

I honestly don't understand why anyone though he would move the needle. Did anyone watch him play with the Canadiens? Nothing about him screamed "difference maker." That's why Lou didn't make a great trade. It's not that Romanov isn't a decent player, but it's that (once again) Lou didn't maximize the asset(s) he gave up in a trade. If you give up a top 15 pick in any draft you should get back someone with more talent/upside/impact than Romanov.
