So, the ticket info for the event is out via TD Centre Ticketing (Ticketing).

Ottawa will be playing on Thursday night (opposite the Senator's vs Av's game).

Ottawa currently sits in 3rd place in OUA-East, six points behind Queen's. There are 6 games left but it's likely that Ottawa will end the season in 3rd or lower as they only have a 1-2pt lead on OTech, McG and UQTR.

Anything is possible but I don't see Ottawa going to the OUA-East finals (Concordia and either Queen's or McGill) which makes them the HOST and will likely play the #1 seed (unless that's Concordia - it's possible, but unlikely).

My current predictions (total guess), because that's all that we know at this stage, based on current standings & Rankings.
1. UNB
2. USask
3. CON
4. UoT
5. MRU
6. UdeM
7. Queen's
8. Ottawa (Host)

I can't comment on 2-7, but can agree with 1 and 8.

Statistically, it's looking to be a UNB vs Concordia final. The top 2-3 GFA and GAA teams are in the mix when it comes UCup finals (historically speaking).

.......GFA - GAA - Diff
UNB - 5.70 - 1.60 - 4.10
CON - 4.41 - 1.99 - 2.42
ALB - 4.63 - 2.49 - 2.14
USK - 4.32 - 2.22 - 2.10
MRU - 4.36 - 2.40 - 1.96
UdM - 3.63 - 2.32 - 1.31
UQT - 3.54 - 2.28 - 1.26
UBC - 3.96 - 2.74 - 1.22
OTT - 3.57 - 2.51 - 1.06

Series B (Round 1)
Game 1 - Wednesday, February 19 - Trois-Rivieres at McGill (7:00 pm)
Game 2 - Friday, February 21 - McGill at Trois-Rivieres (7:00 pm)
Game 3 - Sunday, February 23 - Trois-Rivieres at McGill (7:00 pm) - If Necessary

It's been awhile that one (for sure) or both (depends on R2) of these teams don't make it to Nationals.

Canadians students don’t care about collegiate sports . Look at UNB who draws like a CHL team, it’s families and people over 50, same people you see at a Major Junior game.
You could give out free tickets and make it $1 beer night and you’d get some students for a period until they had enough cheap beer .
That's true, it has been trending this way for years now. Even the AUS where interest is much more than the rest of Canada, like you say, families, lots of minor hockey kids, people over 50. You see students, but nowhere near the howling pack they used to be. Everybody had their groups. I think the CHL infiltration was the beginning of the end of it. And in places like Ottawa Rob, yes, they play in very empty buildings, and did when I was there nearly 40 years ago.
