that's a solid pick up for the oilers, there's still several though that we could be in on if they want a goalie, depending on what the plan is for Dichow, if it's AHL or Frolunda next year.

I think we have to much prospect/pick coming up, to sign some Undrafted.
Not really.

Of the players picked, you're going to have some you don't even bother to tender an NHL contract to.

The college fas get 1, or 2 year deals and burn a year off because they want to play a few games this year, so even if you sign a guy and he isn't good, the contract is cheap and short, so it isn't hard to get rid of them.

you also have to keep in mind that this summers draft is unique in that you have the covid factor. So players especially in the OHL that would have been picked last summer had they played, that didn't, will get picked so you could have a few guys that are in Laval in 1 year, or even someone that can join Laval next season because they are 19 this year.

Just something they will need to keep in mind, so on top of having so many D prospects incoming over the next 2 years to Laval and the Habs, they will need to make sure they don't have too many rookies in the next 2-3 years as next year Laval will have a big class, the following year could if you pick a couple kids that were passed over last year on top of Roy, Kidney, plus Struble if he doesn't sign now, Farrell and maybe Tuch etc...

I agree. Unless it's someone who can be signed to an AHL/ECHL deal. But you won't be getting the best undrafted UFAs for those.

Habs have quite a few prospects who will need to be signed this year and next year that they're better off focusing on them. The likes of Stapley, Struble, Farrell, Roy, Mailloux, Simoneau, Kidney, and Dichow are just a number of prospects they will need to decide on signing over the next two years.

Perets will return to Quinnipiac. He will turn pro next year.

I thought he would turn pro as how much better a season can he have and Quinnipiac is losing at least 3 of their top 5 scorers from this season. I thought for sure he was going to sign with the Habs, go to 3R next season. Oh well, maybe next year.

Has anyone ever heard of Lukas Sillinger (Cole's brother) and Nick poisson?

They are putting up good stats in the NCAA for undraftees. And they are still pretty young.

How does that works if we want to sign them?

They would have to want to turn pros.

Sillinger still has time left in the NCAA (2 years) if he wants. It would currently be a two-year ELC I believe.

Poisson also has two more years in the NCAA. His ELC would be 3 years.

There might be renewed interest in Alexis Gravel after his Usport performance this season. We don't really need another goalie prospect but the organization is fairly familiar with him, as he's been an invite to some of our camps. Who knows I guess.

I actually propose him in the thread goalie for the Lions next year

Is he much better than Condotta?

0.83 ppg vs 0.70 ppg and 7 inches.

It's all about comparing points at the same period, played 3 games in 19-20.

So if you take the overall stats,
52 points in 121 games = 0.42
58 points in 91 games = 0.63

And we have to think that Theodore will be even better in his last year. Now...do we still go the extra small way? Though reports says that he could challenge St.Louis by how strong he is with his legs.

I have a happy father that works with us! His son Loïk won the Championship with UQTR this weekend!

No idea why, but I knew exactly who you were talking about.

I wonder if he plans to try out with the Lions.

Not sure. I haven't talked to his dad but I had the feeling that he was not interested.

@montreal @Goldenhands @WeThreeKings and others who follow junior leagues

Would you offer an AHL or 2 way contract to Xavier Parent? From what I've watched of the Sherbrooke Phoenix, he's really driving that line. Roy obviously racks up the points, but Parent is no stranger to Roy's season. Not to diminish Roy's credit for his season, because obviously, Parent would not have as many points without him either.

Anyway, I know that Parent's early days in the QMJHL have been disappointing. I'm also aware that this is his 20 years old season. The guy is from the north shore of Montreal, I'm sure he'd be thrilled to play in Laval. I'm not sure if there is any parallel to trace with Alex Barre-Boulet back in 2018, but although he hasn't established himself in the NHL, he has put up good numbers in the AHL. It would also allow Roy to possibly play with a familiar face when he joins Laval after next season; one with whom he's dominated the league for a whole season.

I do admit, I have a soft spot for Xavier Parent because I watched him and Sam Poulin when they were kids because my cousin is the same age as them and played in Blainville like them.

Anyway, I'd just like to know what you guys think. Am I making any sense at all, or am I completely out to lunch?
