It seemed like LA's D couldn't handle our speed off of the rush.

Really nice to see that it seems like we finally have the three scoring lines that have been talked about for years. Now we just need the first line to wake up.

I'm pretty pumped about this. Like really pumped. I didn't even see the game! I had to take my daughter to her second grade dance, which was totally bush league and the DJ was clearly lost in the year 1989.

He looked pretty bad in the 3rd, making several mistakes, just seemed to take his foot off the gas. The whole team did really.

So, in other words, we still have the "crash in the third" team characteristics lingering in the blood.

Joki's best game as a Jet? I say yes...

Even as a Joki fan (lie) he has had two good games this season.

Wheeler why you no shoot the puck

Toss up between Tangradi and Wright for worst hands on team:sarcasm:

Loss of non-NHL'ers Antro-slug, Worn-wood, Crappy-mittens, and the Russian quitter best thing to happen to team.

Addition of NHL'ers Frolik, Seto, Scheff has turned the tide for the Jets.

Fitty Cent and Floyd "Money" Mayweather are on the other line. Say WUT?

Is it Mayweather or Merryweather? I can never remember.

 Should've seen the officiating on this one powerplay we had.

I had to pay fifteen bucks to get me, my daughter and my 3 year old son(who is a ****ing pimp by the way. He was macking on all the ladies. I'm calling it now. I'm going to be a grandpa by the time I'm forty. Just sayin...) in to this thing, and the DJ was clearly one of the parents who was using the school's audio equipment and they didn't even decorate!

And the thing was only two hours...oh and the prizes they handed out were gift certificates to the book fair, which is fine. I like reading. But it definitely left me scratching my head as to why I had to pay five bucks a head, because clearly it did not go towards the DJ, decorations or prizes.

Nice game to watch.

The Jets are going to need to play like they did in the second all year for this team to take the next step. Really liked how the Jets used their speed, and also played physical. I also loved to see the pushback when the Kings tried to get dirty.

KSS is looking pretty good, but we're still waiting on Ladd and Wheeler. Little had another strong game. It may not be like this everytime, but Tangradi was a noticable improvement from Wright on the 3rd line. No way does Wright get himself into those scoring situations, and really no way that Wright streaks down the wing like Tangradi did. Really hope we see Halischuk in soon. I thought he was better than both Tangradi and Wright.

Enstrom and Buff were ok. I really like physical Buff and want him to play physical every night. Didn't see Buff try to skate the puck down low and get caught either. Bogo and Trouba were good again. Trouba does things that no 19 year old D man should even think about doing let alone pulling off. He's going to make some mistakes like he did, but the positives are massively outweighing the negatives. I still didn't like Postma tonight. He was a little better than in Edmonton, but his defensive zone awareness is zilch, and he plays and thinks too slow in the defensive zone.

I don't get the posters who are down on Pavs. The first goal doesn't get saved by any goalie in the history of the NHL, and Carter's goal was through a screen.

All in all, I really hope that games like this start making guys in the room BELIEVE. Get them to start buying into the message, and get them to buy into the system.

This might not mean anything to anyone but me, but like I said above I was happy to see the Jets start pushing back during the scrums. I thought they let the Wild manhandle them in the exhibition game. The way the guys were celebrating after goals really gives me the feeling that they really are coming together as a team as well.

Kings forecheck really killed the Jets in the first 25 minutes. They finally seemed to figure it out and put pucks up the middle rather than chipping it along the boards. As Sweech said, the Kings D seemed unprepared for the Jets speed off the rush.

Once again, great game by the KSS line.

I thought Tangradi was dreadful today, way too many soft plays and turnovers.

Tangradi on the PP, come on Noel, chris sake, guy makes a blind no look pass and all the sudden he's starting the game, bumped up a line, and on the power play lol.

LLW almost non existent again. It's like it's their first time playing together.

I noticed that exact thing too. It seemed as though they scouted us well and knew we'd always take it up the boards. So instead of panicking just hold onto it for a split second until someone gets open in the middle. That adjustment was definitely made in the first intermission.

Wheeler was terrible until the 3rd period. In the first period he would kill the play every time he got the puck. Not once did he have any sort of meaningful possession. Second was better, but the third was pretty good.

2-0 plan the parade!!!!

what a crowd. Lots of BS from the zebras but ok in the end.

love my fellow season ticket friends in the 200s...nice and rowdy, lots of booze, and no one gets (really) hurt.

much love to the WPG cadets who work so hard busting people with red solo cups on the way to the MTS. Good work. Because people in Jets jerseys are the real threat.:shakehead

Back from the game a pretty buzzed so here's my take of the game.

Refs - I usually don't get on the but man... The net was off for literally 30 seconds at least. I told everyone around me it wouldn't count but they need to them the clock back or something. High stick on Kane was garbage. Tripping on Truoba probably shouldn't been called but whatever...

Pavs was definitely a star but I probably would have given him #2

Troubas hit on Brown was awesome. He played well over all. Yes he had a few mistakes but this is one of the premiere teams in the league. I'll take it.

Buff continues to play more physical. Me likey.

Slater is money. This guy should be our 4th line center for many years.

Scieflie was good. That line again was awesome. Drew a few penalties and went to the hard areas and drew defenders giving Kane and Seto more room.

MTS was loud after that 4th goal!

Postma still needs a lot of work in our own end.

Some other stuff butnfeel s great to finally win pur home opener.

Little jersey was a hit. Was asked to take pictures with a few others with a little jersey on. They barely came up to my shoulders lol
