Nice game to watch.
The Jets are going to need to play like they did in the second all year for this team to take the next step. Really liked how the Jets used their speed, and also played physical. I also loved to see the pushback when the Kings tried to get dirty.
KSS is looking pretty good, but we're still waiting on Ladd and Wheeler. Little had another strong game. It may not be like this everytime, but Tangradi was a noticable improvement from Wright on the 3rd line. No way does Wright get himself into those scoring situations, and really no way that Wright streaks down the wing like Tangradi did. Really hope we see Halischuk in soon. I thought he was better than both Tangradi and Wright.
Enstrom and Buff were ok. I really like physical Buff and want him to play physical every night. Didn't see Buff try to skate the puck down low and get caught either. Bogo and Trouba were good again. Trouba does things that no 19 year old D man should even think about doing let alone pulling off. He's going to make some mistakes like he did, but the positives are massively outweighing the negatives. I still didn't like Postma tonight. He was a little better than in Edmonton, but his defensive zone awareness is zilch, and he plays and thinks too slow in the defensive zone.
I don't get the posters who are down on Pavs. The first goal doesn't get saved by any goalie in the history of the NHL, and Carter's goal was through a screen.
All in all, I really hope that games like this start making guys in the room BELIEVE. Get them to start buying into the message, and get them to buy into the system.
This might not mean anything to anyone but me, but like I said above I was happy to see the Jets start pushing back during the scrums. I thought they let the Wild manhandle them in the exhibition game. The way the guys were celebrating after goals really gives me the feeling that they really are coming together as a team as well.
