UNB Reds Thread (Part5)

I really try not to complain and be a dick about volunteer announcers but I feel maybe I can complain now that I’m a paying customer lol…. These guys drive me insane…

I don’t find it as bad as it used to be.

I hardly watched much of the game…but the reaction by Baber and Huckins after they scored leads me to believe that student section of the crowd was giving it to UNB all night.

Huckins continuing to impress the last few weeks . My opinion of him has been up and down all year , after the exhibition game against UOIT I thought he looked like he could put up 30+ points , at times I thought he was UNB’s weakest forward and in the last 3 weeks I can’t say anyone has been better than him.

That answers my question. Wednesday night is the Mark Jeffrey Game..

I’m probably in a minority. But those should be the third jerseys .

Apparently the 4 nations schedule makers are not UNB fans , recorded it tonight and raced home …. I think I’m about to miss my first UNB game in the province of New Brunswick in like 5 years … Like hell I’m driving to Moncton and back and watching that game at midnight lol… It was a good attendance streak while it lasted lol…

My father and Mark were friends, so I'm glad they still have the Jeffrey Game and I 1000% agree that those should be third jerseys.

Probably some sort of OCD tendency on my part, but I'm just irrationally bugged by the Won-Loss records on the UNB website:

- If they're not gonna included pre-season/exhibition games in the overall record, why display the overall record at all?
- Regulation losses and overtime losses ain't grouped together statistically, right?
- By my calculations, they're 31-1-1 overall, 27-1-1 in conference.

Again, this probably says more about me than the poor student assistant who maintains their website, but oh man.

Those are sharp! I'd like to one days see a white version of the current 3rd jersey (like from 89-90)

Will we ever see the all red, red pants + buckets? lol

Pretty sure this is an automatically generated metric provided by their web service.

...Sorted by points.
Only Nolet, Mancini and Blagden without a goal.

All of the skaters on the 2017-18 team had a goal - only time I can find that everyone who played had at least one goal (generally there is always a healthy scratch or 'defensive' D-Man who only have assists). Also on this team - everyone had an assist (even the goaltenders). The only player not to record a point was the 3rd goaltender (Luke Lee-Knight).
