Probably the biggest crowd I’ve seen for a home opener in many years, which is nice to see. Lots of students.
Seems the home opener has frequently fell on the holiday weekend, which has had to have had a negative impact on attendance..

Peer is day to day. Mancini may be out until December (or later?). He had surgery over the summer.

Who comes out of the lineup for Peer? Good problem to have I suppose.
On another note, it would be nice to have a camera on the opposite side of the rink to allow for a better view of plays that happen along the boards on the press box side of the ice.
