I'll be on vacation anyways so whatever but this card is complete crap with an awful main event. Only 10 bouts too, Parsons/Kinoshita and Basharat/Gutierrez were both recently scrapped from this, no clue which fighter in those bouts had to withdraw but I suppose it's possible they find new opponents for the other guys

And if you think this is bad.... the card on the 24th has only 8 bouts booked with the two highest level bouts that are currently booked being Magny vs Morales and Hill vs Ricci :help:

Alencar-Luciano is a rematch of their DWCS draw. Luciano is the more talented fighter but she had Dengue like 4 months ago. I’m fading the Dengue @ +140

I got cooked to the bone tonight on this miserable card

Spivak throwing up an armbar and winning in RD1 is about right

There were a lot of really low IQ performances but the Karl Williams one takes the cake. Going against a former pro kickboxer and he doesn’t commit to a takedown until he’s concussed on one leg in the 3rd…and of course he easily gets it

All he’s done is wrestle his entire ufc career and then he decided to not do that against a GLORY kickboxer. Insane.

Sometimes feels like UFC fighters have giant egos where they want to better the opponent who specialises in a certain area. Or maybe they do just have low fight IQ like you said.

This one in particular was crazy because the *only* thing Williams has done is spam takedowns and cardio heavyweights. He felt Diniz get underhooks once on a halfass TD attempt and then didn’t even try to commit to one until he was beat up and absolutely needed to. Ragdolled him. Was laying beating on him. Time runs out. Simply incredible, I’m gonna bet his opponent by KO for the rest of his career until it hits and I will buy a champagne bottle when it finally cashes

Not sure I believe this considering all the rumors of outside the octagon problems with Mokaev but who knows...

I believe it, Dana/the UFC constantly harp on and incentivize fighters to be more exciting and finish fights. I'd imagine they use it in negotiations all the time by telling people they need to be more exciting if they want to move up the card or get bigger paydays.

Didn't Gaethje admit as much recently?

I read somewhere Colby claimed he was on the chopping block for being a "boring wrestler" before the Maia fight. Even thought he had a really good record. That's when he went full troll
