Merab is f***ing unbelievable. Amazing fight and it's time he enters the best 135er ever convo.
3, 4, and 5 weren't even debatable. Anyone saying Umar should've won needs to rewatch on mute. Winner was Merab clear as day.
To be fair I haven't seen the social media response nor Umar's interview, but to say Umar edged it is incomprehensible to me.I think only Umar is saying that. Or are people tweeting he won?

I assumed he was talking specifically about the 1st roundTo be fair I haven't seen the social media response nor Umar's interview, but to say Umar edged it is incomprehensible to me.
The only round that was questionable to me was round 1. It was closer to a 49-46 Merab than it was to a 48-47 Umar.3, 4, and 5 weren't even debatable. Anyone saying Umar should've won needs to rewatch on mute. Winner was Merab clear as day.
Islam looked laboured on the feet (relatively speaking). But he made quick work on the ground.
They didn’t even try with the next oneGreat main card, high level PPV to start the year.
Yeah, a decent amount of his opponents outclass him on the feet, but it doesn't matter with his wrestling.
In that case I misunderstood, Sorry I am Not Exposed.I assumed he was talking specifically about the 1st round

I don't know about that. He's looked very good on the feet against previous opponents (Volk, Poirier).
But his ground/submission game is incredible. He's submitting legit black belts (Charles, Moicano).
