Umar sore loser.

Rogan is hyperbolic, but I do think that was the best bantamweight title fight I have seen.

Honestly I did think that 1st round was close. No robbery to give it to Merab. Thought Umar edged it though.

Right fighter won.

Can't wait to see him in action again.

Love me a good D’Arce. Islam is dominant

Merab is the most unique fighter I’ve ever seen I think, his cardio is just as effective of a weapon as having crazy KO power. Never seen anything like the pace he’s always pushing

Holland can’t fight grapplers at 185. Jiri is the man. Almeida was slick

People are calling the Talbott fight a fraud check but Barcelos is a guy with very serious grappling credentials and Talbott simply hasn’t seen anything like that yet. He’ll get better with that loss.

I was hoping for a magic moment but hey, Islam is the best in the game and I hope he completes his legacy by going out on top in the next year or two. Moicano has won over a lot of people and I hope he gets one more big fight, title or not, before he calls it a day.

Great main card, high level PPV to start the year.

Yeah, a decent amount of his opponents outclass him on the feet, but it doesn't matter with his wrestling.

I don't know about that. He's looked very good on the feet against previous opponents (Volk, Poirier).

But his ground/submission game is incredible. He's submitting legit black belts (Charles, Moicano).

For Islam it's either Charles (he looked great against Chandler) or Arman in the lightweight division.

Ilia already tweeting he would beat Islam and wants the challenge. I'm not against it.

The fact that he’s got no fear against these high level BJJ guys is actually a weapon, especially since it’s not ignorance or false bravado. When guys are fighting afraid of getting taken down or getting into grappling exchanges is when they put themselves into bad positions. It’s the same as when players return from injury and you can tell they’re worried about getting hurt again, they actually put themselves in worse positions
