Both of them? they're just pissed cause OSU got dumped out of the tournament. Hockey is a sideshow in that town.

It's funny because I was on a webex with OSU right at the end of that game and their internal network was completely overloaded. It was so bad that we were getting only about 50 k/s download since everyone was streaming the game. The IT guy didn't seem too interested but it was obvious he was a very small minority there.

some times i question if any of you guys played any organized sports... and I'm not referring to NHL 14

You need the closet guy to the play to grab him at the very least not a 4th line guy who won't be back on the ice for another 4-7 minutes ... To be honest when that happens 9/10 the ref calls a play on the hit cause he feels it must of been dirty or he might of missed it. I understand the hit was clean ... i understand G had a good game and he saved a goal at the end but these are the things the rangers have always lacked.

Was it that hard even after the whistle to go over to him, Poo had no problem dropping them after the whistle. Like Lundqvist said after the scrum Nash got into " We weren't losing this game after Nash Dropped the gloves"

I'm not saying drop the gloves over every push but Moore is a young guy in this league and it does numbers to a team development when a veteran stands up for a younger player on the team .... Especially a guy wearing an "A" on his chest

Lol, you're simply taking your opinion to the extreme. He hit Moore hard. It wasn't clean but it wasn't a blatant cheap shot either. Girardi whacks him and shakes his gloves, but Comeau buries his head and skates away.

Girardi is the definition of a warrior. He might have the biggest heart on the entire team. He sacrifices his body without a second thought every single game.

And your point about people playing organized sports is asinine. People can be die hard and very knowledgeable fans and never played a sport in their life. Me? I played hockey, football and baseball through high school. Played AAA ice hockey my whole minor career then played junior A, eventually playing NCAA hockey. And I disagree with you.

Well, he really was. Wasn't the greatest game for Zucc. I just assume he's still recovering from his injury. Made a bunch of passes to BJ players that he usually would get through.

He still ended up with two assists, though, and made a crazy pass after being crushed from behind by Tyutin.

Div I or Div III?

Div III nationally ranked and perennial frozen four Div III team, but what's that matter? My career is over and I play beer league at this point. I was recruited by OHL and QMJHL teams as a 15-16 year old, but eventually told them they were wasting their time because I wanted to get a college education. Big regret of mine. My parents and I were too naive about how major junior hockey worked, being from LI. Should've played in one of those leagues and worried about college later.

However, that is in the past. I'm hopeless Rangers fan the same as someone who's never set foot on the ice for more than a free skate. I only mention it because that poster was questioning whether or not anyone here had played organized sports before as if his opinion is more valid because he has; I disagreed with his opinion, yet I've played many organized sports, this sport at a pretty high level to boot. I hate the argument that just because you played, your opinion holds more value. I've played with some dumb, dumb players.

I saw that you edited your post....so what AAA team/teams did you play for in midgets before junior? I assume that's what you meant by saying minor and not minor pro....then after that who in junior A and at what NCAA level did you play? Div I or Div III?

Prefer to not say specifics. You can PM me if you really want to know but it's not important anyway, I was just trying to make a point. I currently play in the men's B league in suffolk county, worrying just as much about my beer in the locker room as I do about the score. (That's not entirely true because when I'm on the ice is when I'm the most happy, but you catch my drift).

My main hockey focus since my (competitive) career is over, is the Rangers. Only bring it up because I hate the idea that just because someone played organized sports, that their opinion holds more weight. It's a cop out. I've played with some real rock heads who's opinions I would absolutely not have any confidence in over some of the more educated members of this board, playing careers don't have any influence in that.

Can't believe Henrik almost got involved. Would have loved to see that. Loved to. The team showed balls tonight and I think every fan on this board appreciates that.

All we need is for Emery to get a load of this before Wed's game. Just watch Emery instigate with someone and continue it just in order to coax Henrik to fight him.

That would've been interesting, for sure. Hank is a competitive guy and you get the sense he is a real leader. I'd prefer to not have him ever get involved in a fight, he's too important to this team. But we've seen his rage before.

Hank would **** Emery up no doubt

Watched this one in a bar, think me and Brass had the same reaction to his goal. Holy crap, Rick Nash wanted this one bad, we need that Rick here on out.

I've always found that the best question asked on this board is "have you ever played organized sports".

Every time I've been posed it and say yes, the asking poster never follows up... So I never understand what the intention was.

There is no point to it. Whether you have or haven't doesn't validate any particular point beside maybe being able to explain how important chemistry with team mates is, or how detrimental an incompetent coach can be... or something of anecdotal nature.

I've come to believe that people who ask that question tend to ask it to try and make a person feel inferior about their viewpoint in a very subtle and roundabout way. The point actually holds little relevance to anything about the Rangers.

Are there things i've learned from having played on a soccer team for 10+ years? Absolutely. Doesn't mean i'm the ****ing messiah on the subject of what this Rangers team is doing correctly.

I'd love to see him rage again.... just not against MMA wannabe Ray Emery. That's a broken jaw waiting to happen.

If that was ever a scenario, and AV saw Henrik skating down the ice to engage in something with RE, I'd immediate demand Carcillo to jump over the boards and Goldberg Emery before it ever even came to fruition.

Take the 10 game suspension. Save Hank.

Funny thing is....carbomb would do it immediately

Watching Richards handle the puck on the PP at the point tonight made my head hurt. The guy is just done, he's so ineffective.

Can't wait for the buyout.

I was thinking the same thing last night, specifically that I feel we'd be a much better, quicker, grittier even strength team heading into the playoffs if Richards was sat and Milller was playing. I know that sounds counter-intuitive with Richards' being one of the team's top point getters, but numbers don't always tell the whole story and outside of potting PP pts, Richards really seems to hinder the team. RIchards looked good to start the season, but he almost looks like a cool gadget that was awesome when you first got it but now has dying batteries. He's just not good right now. And while I'm not a huge fan of plus/minus, Brad's -10 looks really bad against the rest of the regulars with almost all of them now being on the plus side.

A little sad though to see Girardi not track down Comeau and then follow up by getting man handled by whoever took him by the collar in the Nash scrum.

I do think G has been scarred from that fight like 5 years ago where he got whipped onto his head and neck by Cam Barker... but come on Dan, you've been with these guys for like 8 years now and plan to be for the next 6. Stick your neck out a little?
