Problem is that even VAR could see Adeyemi fouled a Lille defenseman to start the play, it was obvious on every single replay. And yet, the ref goes, sees it and doesn't change his decision

Yes, it was not an easy decision on the pen for the ref, even with replay, so I'm not bothered by it.
But the foul? Damn it was obvious.

Adeyemi is pretty much the king of getting penalties. Watch the Sevilla game if you don’t believe me. That was definitely a foul by him though.

The FBs are the most glaring for me right now since they've made the most visible mistakes. I think Maguire's absence is most felt in the lack of organization at the back.
