Pre-order for parking is the dumbest thing and I am begging them to remove that half mile walk. It makes every single loss feel worse.

Are the hours really only 10-6? Not ideal for a pre-game meal.
Looks like there’s only two things open to eat at for now, Streetside Cafe and Tenfold Boulangerie. Whatever those are. Doesn’t sound like a burger and beer joint, either of them lol

Burgers could be had in the arena/Belmont Hall. Last thing I would want is more of the same in the Village.

When you walk in wearing your Isles' gear.

Similarly, last thing I want is a grilled atlantic salmon on a bed of organic greens with rosemary couscous and spring mixed vegetables with a glass of 2021 Rombauer Chardonnay all for just $98 before the game.

Well, I wasn't advocating for that. Just something different than what the arena already offers.

Maybe a Filet-O-Fish and a Colt 45 for $7.99?

On the Bellmont village website it says that complimentary parking is available in the garage. I wonder how that would work if you went to the village shops to eat before the game.

Here is the snippet from the website

By Car
From NYC, Long Island, Connecticut, Westchester:
Address: 2601 Hempstead Turnpike Elmont, NY 11003, USA
From the Cross Island Parkway, take exit 26B for NY-24/Hempstead Ave E towards Belmont Racetrack. Continue on the NY-24 to reach the north entrance of Belmont Park Village.
Complimentary parking is available in the Belmont Park garage.

Perhaps 2 American Champagnes, Monsieur Griswold?

Hey guys!

Planning on coming over with my son for a game.

I there any seats/section we should avoid or do we see well from everywhere ?

Thanks!

Really can’t see me … or anyone else I know… going here. Zero interest.

To me? Total fail. Who in the hell is going to drive to Elmont to shop in these stores? Nothing of interest for the casual Isles fans.

I think you may be misguided. There’s no intent to market this to the casual isles fans. Or any isles fans. At all.

It’s for fancy folks arriving from JFK or before their first class flights to paris

So the people who are already there for an arena event are ignored and they are expecting rich shoppers to come to…. Elmont to shop?

Lol. Good luck with that

You must think hockey fans have no money.

Considering how much disposable income Long Islanders have I think there’s a target demographic that Malkin is hitting among the locals. This gives the Plandome crowd someplace to shop besides the Americana.

Cool. Now before a game you can pick up a lava lamp at Spencer Gifts and maybe an Orange Julius. :sarcasm:

I’m thinking that locals have plenty of places to upscale shop and none of them are going to be Elmont.

Flyers fan living in NYC coming in peace. How's the train in from Penn station? Easy trip? Rangers tickets are ridiculous so looking into going to some Isles games for my hockey fix.
