Each game I get more impressed by this U.S defensive group, that's a real solid back end.

Worrying for me, since I'm a Coyotes fan.

Technically Cooley is a double udnerager for this tournament, though with it being later he's 18 already. As a Leafs fan Knies had been very underwhelming as it's his last year and should be dominating both physically and skill wise. Hoping it's just a bad 3 game and weak competition they'll get better as they need to.

Cooley is just needs to mature his game a bit and build his frame. He has the skill and IQ but is lacking in poise and puck control. Two years in college and you have a star imo.

About as "even" a game as you will see.

Sweden has been a little better 5 on 5 but taking a penalty 200 feet from your own net was beyond stupid.

Hughes is the best player on team USA and I’m not sure it’s close tbh. Every time he’s on the ice you notice him. He makes some mistakes, but his ceiling is clearly high.
