I didn't really know about Carter Mazur before this tournament. That is no longer the case. Definitely see some good NHL upside.

I woudn't use the word clinic here but it has been the most complete showing (goalie excluded) in the tournament so far against was was supposed to be a good opponent.

I’d be shocked if Mazur doesn’t become a player in some capacity at the NHL level. I’d take him on my team any day.

I don't recall in recent memory seeing a US U20 team outskating a Swedish team to this extent. Hell, not just in recent memory but ever.

It's sad that their best player also then has a blot on his night. It's not close in terms of territorial play and he's made saves to keep this close.

Mazur was noticeable for Denver in the NCAA, he stood out in the games I watched to track Carter Savoie’s season. It was fun watching Denver win the NCAA Championship this year.
