This is actually embarrassing for Team Canada.
I realize the advantage the US has but the lack of speed and poor decision making by Canada is concerning.
I've said for years the US emphasis on skating is the big difference.

What's embarrassing is NOT the perceived over celebrating by the US but the continued refusal of Hockey Canada executives to improve the development programs here in Canada.

The old boys club is alive and well with Hockey Canada.

Pretty unfair if you are basing it off this game.

I'm not saying don't celebrate your goals but it's 7-2 and Keller is jumping?

If you don't like it, you should complain to Hockey Canada to end the CHL sooner, and thus freeing up more players to play in this tournament.

I told you at the beginning of March that Hockey Canada has little interest in this tournament and are content with a 3rd or 4th place finish.

That's interesting, do you think USA Hockey makes more of a conscious effort than Hockey Canada in regards to skating?

I don't have a comment on Canada in that regard, but if you look at the top players coming out of the NTDP the past few years, they are literally all amazing skaters. Jones, Eichel, Larkin, Milano, Tuch, Hanifin, Werenski, White, Bracco, Matthews, Keller, Krys. Even the ones outside the NTDP like DeAngelo and Connor are fantastic skaters.

Yah Domi's and team Canada's celebrations during the U20 this year were pretty tame :sarcasm::laugh:

3:30 Domi scores 6-0 onto Slovakia. He just glides into the boards with his hands up. Keller scores to make it 7-2, he jumps on ice.

Just won the 2015 World Juniors and you're complaining. Are you saying the same thing after that?

What a bunch of nonsense. This American team (emphasis on team) has playing together for 2 years. This Canadian team is a group of all stars who've been playing together for 2 weeks.

The Americans should be embarrassed any year they don't win this thing. As Button said this is "their Stanley cup". Every Canadian player started the year hoping to win the Memorial Cup, not the U18.

I think the 2nd goal was the turning point, the Canadian goalie didn't play that well at all. It looked like he wasn't even focused on the puck even though it was right in front of him.
