Really entertaining so far. USA controls the game for most of the time, but that Laine-Saarela-Puljujärvi line generates atleast a chance every shift.

The skill level of Finnish junior teams has take huge step after refreshing the junior school from kaikki pelaa.

Pass quality, pass receiving, shot quality, skating.. all better. Our future looks bright. Beautiful to watch this U18 team play hockey.

Vehviläinen made 19 saves in the first. Need to regain at least some control of the game, unless they expect him to stop 60. A lot of those were quality chances as well. Other than that, good play from our boys. Very sharp on the offense, which is unusual.

Quality chances in Finland's favour, but I don't think we can survive 20 shots each period... Need to get more control of the puck. But, yeah, really nice to see this team, such skill and speed!

Cant give US that many great chances. Handful of odd man rushes and shots from close. Usually they bury those with great %.

That being said our skill level is good too. Goal and 2 posts showed that.

Aho making that 1st goal happen cracked me up. Score the championship winning goal in Finnish Elite league, fly to Switzerland and then assist on U18 final goal in his first shift
