On the very short list of good things this season - Kozak (to go along with Kulich's ability at C in the NHL and Zucker).
Hope he shows well, and stays this time. They can include Lafferty (both with 1G this season btw) in a deal.

I really don't understand why they would send him back, same thing Baker said, he's playing the right game, are they afraid of losing NAK or Lafferty who just aren't that good. They could have given him more time in Buffalo, but oh well, weird decisions continue to plague this team.

Wish he would've been sent back down to Rochester to continue to develop his offensive game, and take on more responsibility as a professional, to become a more rounded NHL player to and refine their leadership qualities eventually, instead of becoming another prospect that becomes a face in the room.

But hey, welcome to the Sabres, we don't know what it means to develop a player. If you have at least the very basic traits of a hockey player, there's no need to spend time in developing your game, we have a spot on our NHL roster, that we will make moves to make room for you.

I'm assuming he goes back down when Greenway comes back?

He is 2 1/2 years into being a pro. Maybe there’s a little bit more offense to squeeze out of him but most of his game is that meat and potatoes wall work and then getting around the crease. That’s what he already does and he does it better than most of the players already on the team. I’m not sure if this is actually stunting his development any.
