Chevy just went up a notch in my books. They seemed to love Meyers and he's a great team and community guy. I wasn't going to be surprised if they over paid for him like they've done similar guys. I like Meyers but glad they didn't give a silly contract

Enjoy watching Myers when he was at his healthiest during our deep playoff run couple of years ago. Like to see him back Can’t blame him going to where he’s appreciated and getting paid.

Myers was huge on 17-18 playoffs. The best D for many games and overall only Buff was better then. He has his flaws and the difference between good and bad day is still too big, but when he is good, he really is.

Before Tyler Myers, the Jets didn't make the playoffs. 3 out of 5 seasons Myers was with us we went to the dance. Two years he was injured, and the Jets missed them. That's with Jacob Trouba, who was revered in these parts, in the lineup. Myers was good every playoffs. Especially the year of the run. Game 2 Minnesota. And that 4 on 4 against Nashville, which blew down their door, greatest comeback in Jets history. Led the team in +/- last year, playing not with Morrissey but Morrow and Kulikov. He will be missed, I think as much as Trouba, who never wanted to be here, and certainly was no playoff hero. He's going to be the #1 in Vancouver, we'll see how he does compared to our #1 and the Rangers #1.

I may be in the minority, but $6M a year, for five years is not a bad signing, especially in comparison to the Kulikov contract.

All the best to Tyler Myers, who was a class act, played the best that he could for the Jets, and scored a lot of points. He never complained, and was happy to be playing here in our City.

I just wish we could have got rid of Perrault's contract, and Kulikovs, and resigned Myers, as I think he's got a lot of great hockey left in him. It's assumed you'll be playing in Vancouver, so all the best to you and your family Tyler.
