Ok I’ll take itLol, just for you, it's now Ponk ....![]()
And 15 mil in career earnings! Is this accurate...says Tyler Myers is married to Sara Orlesky? Sara Orlesky
What about a nick-name? How about PEEPIE-YANKER?It’s pronounced PEEE-YONK!
Close. Just a look-alike, I believe. Is this accurate...says Tyler Myers is married to Sara Orlesky? Sara Orlesky
Hope we don't have to call him 'Plunker', because he is sinking hard as in "plunk-ing", as a Jet in his own end.Lol, just for you, it's now Ponk ....![]()
Thanks for your time, effort and "try" while a Jet. The fans all appreciate your playing here. Some for the good, some for the Not-so, as in appreciate your time is done. Me, ? and yes, appreciate your play more than not. For our roster, youngsters I am happy for the "opening"for them, and for you TM off to VCR.It’s official now. TSN app.
Good person, team-mate, for the organization and community.Good luck Tyler, stand up guy, a good soldier. Not your fault you're not worth what some will pay you.
But vitriol? I haven't seen a criticized Jets player receive more balanced criticism on HF than him. Wheeler gets at least 6 times the vitriol, and is far closer in value to his contract than Myers.
Nah tooo long!What about a nick-name? How about PEEPIE-YANKER?
Oops...sorry Mods. Language.
Agree with you on the business end of it. If Chevy could have convinced him to stay on a 1 or 2 year max deal for close to $5 mil...might have been good for the Jets? Done tho and all the best Tyler & family.Chevy just went up a notch in my books. They seemed to love Meyers and he's a great team and community guy. I wasn't going to be surprised if they over paid for him like they've done similar guys. I like Meyers but glad they didn't give a silly contract
Yes, I get your point. Just absolutely not doable by or for Jets future going forward. Yes, if a reasonable forward replacement (on the cheap) for Perreault and as boring as a later round pick/low-end prospect for Kulikov could have been done first, then re-sign Myers to "what he got/took from VCR".I may be in the minority, but $6M a year, for five years is not a bad signing, especially in comparison to the Kulikov contract.
I agree he will be missed, for his play. Just always wanted more, or the better-plays-Myers consistently. Before Tyler Myers, the Jets didn't make the playoffs. 3 out of 5 seasons Myers was with us we went to the dance. Two years he was injured, and the Jets missed them. That's with Jacob Trouba, who was revered in these parts, in the lineup. Myers was good every playoffs. Especially the year of the run. Game 2 Minnesota. And that 4 on 4 against Nashville, which blew down their door, greatest comeback in Jets history. Led the team in +/- last year, playing not with Morrissey but Morrow and Kulikov. He will be missed, I think as much as Trouba, who never wanted to be here, and certainly was no playoff hero. He's going to be the #1 in Vancouver, we'll see how he does compared to our #1 and the Rangers #1.
